Progressive Care Unit

On our Progressive Care Unit, we care for patients who are acutely or chronically ill.
Nurses take the lead in coordinating care for patients who require close monitoring and observation, with special emphasis on nephrology, pulmonology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and mental health.
Our interdisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, nursing care partners, therapists, pharmacists, case managers, social workers, and child life specialists. Even though there will be many professionals involved in your child’s care, we share a common dedication to our patients and their families.
