Personal Statement

CHKD is a top-notch children’s hospital and has an excellent reputation! I work for CHKD because it has an amazing team of providers that dedicate their lives to providing the best possible care for the children in the local and surrounding communities.

Bio

Dr. Santee has a passion for caring for children with cleft lip and palate and craniofacial differences, including craniosynostosis. He offers treatments covering the full scope of cleft surgery, craniomaxillofacial surgery, and oral surgery. He completed a fellowship specifically focused on cleft and craniofacial surgery at El Paso Children’s Hospital. Dr. Santee is very excited to be part of the community at CHKD and offer his unique skill set to help care for the children in Hampton Roads and the surrounding area.

When he’s not at the hospital, Dr. Santee is probably doing something outside with his rescue dog, a blue heeler mix. He enjoys hiking, camping, cycling, and photography. Now that he’s living on the coast for the first time in his life he’s excited to find new and fun activities out on the water.
