Tammy Cocola, PA-C

Bio

Tammy Cocola, a board-certified physician assistant, has worked in the field of reproductive health since the beginning of her medical career.  

Tammy grew up in a military family, moving every three to four years. She graduated from high school in the Netherlands and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina. 

Following graduation, she earned her master’s in economics and management from Oklahoma University. During that time, she also had two sons and relocated to the Hampton Roads area.

She decided to pursue her PA degree when her sons were old enough to be in school. After graduating from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2010, Tammy worked in OBGYN offices in Newport News and Norfolk for nearly 15 years. 

Tammy has resided in the Hampton Roads area for 21 years and calls this area home. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, and spend time with her sons and family. She also enjoys outdoor activities.
