Bio

Massachusetts native Shayna Codrey earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Maine. She began her career as a pediatric nurse with the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, during which she first moved to Virginia. After nine years as a certified pediatric nurse, Shayna pursued further education and became a certified family nurse practitioner through Duke University.

Passionate about family-centered care, Shayna is committed to empowering patients and their families to actively engage in their healthcare decisions. She brings a compassionate and patient-focused approach to her practice.

Outside of her professional life, Shayna is a proud mother of two children and two dogs. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her family, whether at the beach or hiking in nature.
