Bio
Dr. Hines is a pediatric anesthesiologist who joined CHKD in 2022. Before joining CHKD, Dr. Hines worked at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) following completion of his fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at CHOP in 2012.
Dr. Hines is excited to be at CHKD, where he has found a collegial team-based environment that remains focused on exceptional patient care at all times. He brings years of experience working with children of all ages in a range of clinical settings. Dr. Hines’ non-clinical interest is in the mentoring and education of future physicians and other providers. He’s grateful to have the opportunity to care for kids and their families, and to be part of a team dedicated to pediatric medicine.
Dr. Hines lives in Virginia Beach with his family, where they enjoy exploring the area together, gardening, traveling, and building stuff.
