Bio

Dr. Leazer began working with CHKD as a volunteer in high school and remained with the hospital throughout her medical training.

Dr. Leazer is now an attending physician at CHKD and is also an associate professor of pediatrics at EVMS. She received the James E. Etheridge, Jr., and Ahmad A. Shoaibi scholarship in 2007 and was part of the Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society medical school.

At CHKD, our hospitalists have extensive experience managing a wide variety of pediatric conditions that can only be treated through inpatient care. They manage the care of hospitalized newborns, children, and adolescents who have been diagnosed with varying conditions. Their expertise allows them to easily navigate the hospital system to provide efficient treatment in a caring and family-centered way.
