Personal Statement

After working at CHKD for nearly a decade prior to becoming a provider, I understand the important role that our hospital and health system plays for the children of Hampton Roads and the surrounding community. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to return to such an amazing organization.

Bio

A native to Hampton Roads, Nick Crodick was inspired early on to pursue a career in health care like so many of his family members. Before his current role at CHKD as a physician assistant, Nick worked for several years at CHKD as a paramedic on the transport team and as an emergency department technician.

Nick attended Old Dominion University where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. He attended physician assistant school at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

When he’s not at work, Nick enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and attending football and basketball games at ODU.

CHKD's Emergency Center is home to the first and only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in Hampton Roads, offering the highest level of care available to trauma patients under the age of 15. Our comprehensive team of pediatric emergency medicine specialists are ready to care for the unique needs of children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
