Personal Statement
While visiting CHKD for the first time, it immediately became obvious to me that the focus of this hospital was on one very important thing -- the patients. I knew right away that this was the kind of environment I wanted to work in and the kind of people I wanted to work with.
Bio
Dr. Senior grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and stayed in the state for her bachelor's degree at The University of Arizona. She then decided to change her scenery with a move to the island of St. Maarten to pursue her medical education.
Her next stop was New York for clinical rotations and the completion of medical school. She did her residency program in Houston, Texas, and decided to stay there for her pediatric anesthesiology fellowship as well.
Dr. Senior is very excited to call the Hampton Roads area home and to start her dream job of working at a children's hospital. She is honored to be a part of the CHKD team and to be working alongside people who share her passion for patient care.
