Lauren Dean, PA-C

Lauren is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but moved to Virginia Beach in high school. She attended James Madison University for her bachelor's degree and played Division I soccer. She then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School to become a physician assistant.

She was with CHKD's cardiology program from 2011 to 2015, and left the practice to spend six years practicing in adult cardiology. She rejoined CHKD in February 2021, and found that her heart is in pediatrics. She works in electrophysiology, managing patients with heart rhythm abnormalities.

Lauren and her husband welcomed a baby boy to their family April 2020. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys participating in CrossFit and spending time with her son and husband.
