CHKD has given me the opportunity to do what I love to do. I am always happy to see young children and adolescents especially.

Bio

Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Vergara settled in Virginia Beach after completing her residency training in Brooklyn, New York. 

Prior to joining Nansemond Pediatrics, Dr. Vergara worked with CHKD's neonatology group, as well as Coastal Pediatrics in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

Dr. Vergara loves working with children and their families and feels privileged to be a part of their lives.

Aside from taking care of her own two children - who keep her very busy - Dr. Vergara enjoys Zumba and encourages her patients to find a fun way to exercise and stay healthy.
