Bio
Born and raised in Norfolk, Dr. Dahl joined the neurology team at CHKD after a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy.
Dr. Dahl graduated from the University of Virginia and attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his general pediatric training at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and a child neurology fellowship at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville where he served as chief resident in his final year.
Dr. Dahl is fascinated by all areas of child neurology but has a keen interest in helping children affected by headaches, epilepsy, and Tourette’s syndrome.
When he is not working at CHKD, Dr. Dahl enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons. He also likes to spend time in his yard, on the beach or water, and in the kitchen cooking.
