Bio

Dr. Lowen grew up in New Jersey but has lived in multiple states for her education, training, and throughout her career. She comes to CHKD after spending about 15 years living and working in the Nashville area. 

She's excited to be close to the water and is happy to be working at an institution that understands abused and neglected children deserve specialized medical and mental health care.

When she's not working, Dr. Lowen enjoys hiking, being outside near the water, spending time with her dogs, and watching her children grow into adults.

We accept referrals from investigative and other approved community agencies that address child maltreatment. Direct referrals from healthcare providers for medical evaluations are accepted in select cases after discussion with the CAC medical staff.
