Personal Statement
I loved the opportunity to train at a freestanding children’s hospital, focused completely on pediatric care. Residency at CHKD provided excellent training by dedicated mentors from many pediatric specialties. It is very reassuring to know the pediatric specialists that I refer my patients to and to have confidence in their decisions. I am grateful to be part of the CHKD team.
Bio
Dr. Dison is of Mexican descent and fluent in Spanish. He loves pediatrics and finds it especially rewarding to provide care to the Hispanic community. He strives to answer questions, educate, and support his patients and their families as much as possible. Prior to medical school, he lived in Mexico for two years as a missionary for his church and continues to find opportunities to serve.
Dr. Dison grew up in Northern California and has enjoyed involvement in Boy Scouts, playing golf and tennis, and singing in a cappella groups and choirs. He attended Brigham Young University and majored in Spanish. There he met his wife, Emma, a native of Virginia Beach. They love raising their four children close to family in the Hampton Roads area.
