Personal Statement
I have been very happy and proud to be part of the CHKD team. It is a great feeling to know that wherever I refer my patients throughout the CHKD system, they will receive expert pediatric care by providers who know and understand children.
Bio
Moors' interests in healthy habits has expanded to include breastfeeding and lactation support and she is a board certified lactation consultant, working closely with new mothers and babies to meet their lactation needs. As part of this role, she teaches a monthly breastfeeding class at Coastal Pediatrics in Elizabeth City, NC, where all are welcome to come and learn more about breastfeeding so that mom and baby can get off to a good start.
Preventive care, including healthy habits, is an important part of her approach and Moors encourages educating patients and families about healthy eating habits, exercise, and setting educational goals to help children develop healthy bodies and minds.
