After spending five years as a registered nurse at CHKD, I transitioned into my role as a family nurse practitioner. During my time here, I have deeply valued the opportunity to work with children, families, and our incredible team of staff and colleagues. CHKD's unwavering commitment to providing compassionate care and upholding exceptional healthcare standards has made it a truly fulfilling place to grow both professionally and personally.

Bio

Audrey Klecka is a certified family nurse practitioner. Before earning her certification, Audrey worked for several years as a registered nurse in CHKD’s nephrology clinic and infusion center.

Growing up in New Haven, Kentucky, Audrey developed a love for science and helping people reach their full potential, which fueled her passion for healthcare and nursing. Her health care interests include holistic care, wellness, nutrition, disease prevention, complementary medicines, and healthcare disparities.

In her free time, Audrey enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include reading, practicing yoga, and traveling.
