About Us
Located in Chesapeake, Pediatric Partners of Hampton Roads provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Routine checkups are one of the most important ways to keep kids healthy. By maintaining a regular checkup schedule, we can help prevent illness, detect hidden problems, and monitor your child’s development and growth.
It’s important for us to see your child often during the first three years – then annually throughout childhood and the teen years. If your child is a student-athlete, remember to have your sports physical completed during your annual well visit.
Because we understand that wellness is much more than physical health, we work with CHKD to provide comprehensive partnership with our families — offering access to the most up-to-date, evidence-based care and providing a wide variety of educational programs designed to support patients and families in making good choices and sustaining healthy behaviors.
When Your Child Is Sick
If your child is sick and needs to see a doctor, we encourage you to call us as early in the day as possible. Our staff will help evaluate your child’s condition to determine if a same-day sick or urgent visit is needed. When appropriate, we will provide home-care advice for your child.
Refilling Prescriptions
Prescription refills can be requested at our office during regular hours or online through your MyCHKD account anytime. Please allow three to five business days for refills to be completed.
CHKD Medical Group Vaccine Statement
The primary care pediatricians of CHKD Medical Group believe that vaccination may be the single most important thing parents can do to protect the health of their children. All CHKD Medical Group practices share the same philosophy on immunizations, and all take steps to minimize the risk unvaccinated and under-vaccinated children present to infants, young children who have not yet completed their vaccinations, and those with weakened immune systems. We are aware that rumors circulate concerning which CHKD practices are more lenient about immunizations, but these rumors are not true. Our practices share a unified belief that children should be fully vaccinated according to the schedule developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and that we have an ethical responsibility to create the safest possible environment for care.
