Bio

Meagan was born and raised in the Midwest and spent the last 15 years in Montana before joining CHKD. She has worked in healthcare since the age of 15, starting her career in long-term care while still in high school. After completing nursing school, Meagan worked in cardiac care, intensive care, and the post-anesthesia care unit before discovering her love for pediatrics.

Meagan says she has a special passion for children struggling with chronic gastrointestinal symptoms including abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. This passion stems from Meagan's personal medical history of struggling with ulcerative colitis from a very young age and ultimately needing to have her colon removed in her early 30s. Meagan says she was fortunate to work in pediatric gastroenterology, in addition to general pediatrics, while working in Montana. Her other special interests include newborn care, breast feeding support, and teenage health.

In her free time, Meagan enjoys being outside. She loves to garden and take walks with her best canine friend, Norman.
